Job Type: Part-Time, Independent Contractor
Compensation: $25 - $30/hr depending on experience
Schedule: 15 - 20 hours per week, M-F
Start Date: Late October, 2025
Reports to: Jenna Tighe, Managing Director for Caverly Morgan
We are seeking someone to join our team who is passionate about digital storytelling and community engagement, and who enjoys responding with creativity to emergent needs and opportunities. This person recognizes that the way we communicate is as important as what we communicate, brings strong technical and strategic marketing skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, growing, and multifaceted work environment.

We are looking for someone who can skillfully coordinate digital marketing efforts and contribute to a compassionate and courageous work environment as we expand our reach and grow. SKILLSET
As Digital Marketing Coordinator (DMC), your purpose is to help our work reach and inspire a wider audience by bringing creativity, strategy, and technical expertise to our digital presence. You will bring campaigns to life through compassionate self-awareness, effective use of technology, thoughtful communication, and responsive collaboration.
The ideal DMC brings strong technical skills, project management expertise, and interpersonal abilities—someone who can manage the details of email and social campaigns, craft compelling reels, optimize SEO, and work closely with our team to share our mission with clarity and impact.
SCOPE OF WORK
While specific tasks will vary week to week, we anticipate the general breakdown being:
Email Marketing Campaigns: 50%
Lead Magnets & List Growth: 15%
SEO & Web Optimization: 15%
Social Media Strategy: 10%
Other duties as assigned: 10%
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for someone who:
Has a minimum of three years experience in digital marketing or communications.
Demonstrates self-awareness in terms of understanding their own culture, identity, biases, prejudices, power, privilege, and stereotypes.
Has a combination of life or work experience and/or training in anti-racism and equity work.
Has demonstrated excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Brings strong computer skills, with proficiency in Google Suite, Mailchimp (or similar email platforms), Instagram, Facebook, Canva, YouTube, and video editing tools for reels.
Can do quality work and meet deadlines with efficiency, consistency, and reliability.
Excels at managing multiple projects, thoughtfully meeting deadlines, and facilitating efficient solutions.
Is a self-starter, able to work independently and be an accountable part of a team. Also enjoys direct communication, fast-paced work, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
We strongly prefer someone who:
Has experience with Mighty Networks and Substack.
Is tech-savvy and comfortable with existing and emerging marketing tools and platforms.
Has demonstrated experience building and strengthening online community engagement.
Has SEO experience, including keyword research and implementation.
Has an interest in mindfulness/meditation practices.
Is familiar with nonduality practices and teachings.
Has a strong passion for the vision of liberation for all.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Email Marketing
Design, schedule, and manage multiple newsletter campaigns to promote events, teachings, and offerings.
Maintain mailing lists and segment audiences for effective targeting.
Track campaign performance and provide insights for improvement.
Lead Magnets & List Growth
Envision, plan, and implement lead magnets that expand community engagement and support list growth.
Collaborate with the team to develop compelling offerings (e.g., downloadable guides, mini-courses, exclusive content).
Set up and manage all technical aspects, including landing pages, sign-up forms, automations, and integrations with email platforms.
Monitor performance and continuously refine strategies to optimize conversion and audience engagement.
SEO & Web Presence
Support website content updates and improvements with SEO best practices.
Research and implement strategies to enhance visibility and search rankings.
Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve traffic and engagement.
Social Media Strategy
Advise on social media strategy across platforms to align with organizational goals and expand reach.
Occasionally create, edit, and publish engaging posts and reels that reflect our voice and values.
Monitor analytics to assess engagement and recommend refinements.
Project Management & Collaboration
Develop timelines, workflows, and checklists to manage campaigns from start to finish.
Anticipate risks, recommend solutions, and keep projects on track.
Collaborate with the team to ensure digital communications are clear, timely, and consistent with our mission.
Team Collaboration and Leadership
Bring the organizational mission, vision, and strategic plan to life through core areas of responsibility.
Provide support to other team members, as well as be supported by team members.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the health and growth of the organization and its community.
ABOUT YOU
You are creative and detail-oriented, able to see both the big picture and the small steps it takes to get there.
You have experience running digital campaigns (email, social, or both) and enjoy measuring results to improve future efforts.
You are comfortable with technology and quick to learn new tools, from email platforms to video editing apps.
You are collaborative and communicative, able to work well with a team while also managing your own projects independently.
You are passionate about using your skills to support a mission-driven organization that fosters mindfulness, compassion, and transformation.
