Remembering Our Inherent Wholeness During Uncertain Times:

A Workshop to Explore
Non-Dual Meditation and the Direct Path to the Self

Program Description

The times we are in, with systemic breakdowns across many segments of society, can be destabilizing to even the most grounded among us. To navigate this terrain, it is useful to journey beneath the conditioned mind and attune to and access our true nature of inherent wholeness – that which is not conditioned - and begin to act in the world from this understanding.

This workshop will help us explore and understand our true Self and connect to the natural wisdom and compassion that reside there. This approach is often referred to as the “direct path” to the true Self and uses tools and practices grounded in the truth of our shared being as articulated in the Non-Dual philosophy.  The day will be oriented toward gaining understanding that allows love to flow through us as service in the world even in the midst of uncertain times.

The day is appropriate for both new and seasoned meditators and will include teaching, guided meditation, relational practices, individual reflection, and group discussion. We will meet at the Healing House in North Bethesda Maryland (address provided after registration).

What Past Practitioners Are Saying

“Caverly is a wonderful teacher and human; a gift to this world. The retreat I attended with her, along with her recent meditation series, has continued to shift something in me in a quiet but profound way. She teaches with clarity, gentleness, and a depth that feels lived rather than conceptual.”

—Sarah Civil Engineer, Greatest Power: Love Meditation Series, Fall 25

“I loved being in a group of people who are thinking deeply about how to engage in a loving and authentic manner with other human beings. Caverly created an inclusive and safe environment to ask deep questions of myself, and to be vulnerable in the presence of others.”

—Lisa, Practice Collective Participant, Spring 2025

“Caverly Morgan is bold and unapologetic, of a deep love for humanity and a full understanding of the power of authentic harmony & evolution. I couldn’t recommend her retreats more highly. If you’re longing to awaken, in courage grounded grace & joy, in a space where you’re held in such true depth and connection.”

About Caverly

After eight years as a Zen monk, Caverly Morgan discovered something unexpected: nothing was missing. The freedom she'd been searching for was already here.

She is a teacher of awakening, the author of The Heart of Who We Are: Realizing Freedom Together and A Kids Book About Mindfulness. As founder of the nonprofits Peace in Schools (the nation's first for-credit mindfulness program in U.S. public high schools) and Realizing Freedom Together, she has pioneered ways for communities to awaken collectively, making teachings that lead to liberation accessible to all.

Through retreats, teachings, and practices, Caverly creates spaces where we return to our inherent wholeness—the peace and belonging that doesn't depend on anything being different.
